MICRONEEDLING

A form of collagen-inducting therapy, microneedling is a common minimally-invasive skin treatment helping to improve surface conditions like acne scars, wrinkles, enlarged pores, stretch marks, skin laxity and even melasma. This treatment uses your body’s own healing response to generate the formation of new collagen by means of miniscule controlled injuries to the skin using a device that resembles a pen. Thanks to all of the micro-channels created in the skin, any subsequent product applied can penetrate much deeper into the dermis for better efficiency (i.e., PRP, epidermal growth factors, and hyaluronic acid). These micro-injuries activate the wound healing response, and over time, fresh, healthy collagen is produced, resulting in an overall tightening effect leaving your skin looking smoother, firmer and more even-toned.

PRP, EXOSOMES & TOPICAL PDO

Love microneedling? Growth factors are a no-brainer if you want to take your treatment to the next level by expediting the healing process with healthy collagen stimulation.  At Artistik Beauty, we offer a variety of customized options, though our most popular are PRP, and Exosomes:

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is an option to enhance tissue repair, using a drawn blood sample to separate coveted rich platelets (full of proteins/growth factors and cytokines). This concentration is then microneedled into the skin, encouraging collagen production and cell reproduction.

But… plasma is only as good as the health of our blood at any given time, so using Exosomes can be an even better option for isolating this rich growth factor concentration. The rate of transferred growth factors using an MSC (mesenchymal stem cell)-derived product like XoGlow is increased exponentially – each milliliter of XoGlo contains 1 billion MSC exosomes which help support the huge list of cellular and biochemical events that are taking place with skin healing and regeneration.

Topical PDO, like PDO After Glo, is another great option for boosting your microneedling results with highly effective skin hydration.  This powerful collagen-building skin booster is made of PDO (polydioxanone) and HA (hyaluronic acid). PDO is a common chemical compound that has been used for years in surgical settings with internal sutures and more recently, in treatments like PDO threads for skin lifting and tightening. HA is a mega-hydrator, helping to smooth fine lines and moderate wrinkles, improve elasticity and skin texture and treat the appearance of dark circles and sunspots.

CHEMICAL PEELS

If we had a dime for every client who was terrified of chemical peels, we would be typing this from our own private island! With a variety of types and strengths, Artistik Beauty offers several chemical peels that are safe for almost any skin type and condition without fear. Light peels are great for sensitive skin and rosacea, but will differ from medium and strong peels intended to treat sun damage, wrinkles, thick, Melasma, acne and/or scarred skin. Peels are a great option in the spring and fall, helping your skin shed dead skin cells, seasonal damage and debris. As maintenance, we recommend a quarterly peel treatment for increased skincare product penetration and better makeup absorption.

Chemical peels are most often considered a facial treatment but they are excellent options for the neck, chest, hands, arms, back, and most areas of hyper-pigmented skin. Try with Dermaplaning for even better results!

DERMAPLANING

This specialized technique and pain-free procedure uses a sterile surgical blade to manually exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and unwanted vellus hair, or “peach fuzz.” But don’t worry – the hair removed will not grow back thicker or fuller …what will happen is a sleek and refreshed look to the skin, enabling better product penetration and makeup application. Dermaplaning is commonly paired with additional treatments, like chemical peels and HydraFacial, for maximum efficiency and best overall results.

THERMAVEIN

Considered the gold standard for red vein removal.  The process involves a small probe with pulsed energy that works by gently joining the two walls of the vein together; a method called thermocoagulation.  This proven method is relatively painless, permanently effective and FAST.  Think of adding this on to your next injectable or skincare service to address red veins, skin tags and cherry spots!

POWDER BROWS & LASH/BROW TINT

Love the look of a thick, fuller shape but not necessarily blessed with the brows, if you know what we mean? (Same.) Powder Brows are a great solution to the daily struggle of shape/rinse/repeat – this technique uses a sterile semi-permanent cosmetic makeup tool, similar to a tattoo gun, to carefully and artfully inject pigment into the skin, creating a soft, powder effect, similar to makeup. The trick is in the technique, and as with all treatments at Artistik Beauty, Powder Brows are fully customized to your unique skin tone and features. Expect results to last about a year (depending on sun exposure, skincare products and lifestyle factors) with touch-ups recommended to maintain desired color and shape.

Brow Tinting is a great option for shorter-term results, usually about 3 to 6 weeks, and in addition to brows, Lash Tinting can boost the appearance of thicker, fuller eyelashes, with the precise application of semi-permanent pigment.

Another option for lash lovers is Latisse – a tried and true daily lash treatment formulated and proven to enhance the length and fullness of your natural lashes. Latisse is currently dispensable by prescription only at Artistik Beauty.

Lucky for you, our office is equipped with the Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide System – an inhaled mixture of 50% Oxygen and 50% Nitrous Oxide (a/k/a laughing gas), used to reduce anxiety and discomfort during your procedure.

Pro-Nox is efficiently self-administered, and while it provides comfort and relief during your treatment, the effects are temporary and will not interfere with driving or activities following your appointment.
